Bill Horlock

Born and based in Fife he originally trained as a cartographer, working with British Military Survey and several Edinburgh mapmakers before making a career transition to graphic design and illustration.

Now retired, he paints in watercolour acrylics and oils. His work could probably be best described as representational and topographic, however he still strives to develop a more loose style to better capture the fleeting effects of light and atmosphere.
