Colin Robertson

Colin studied painting and drawing at Edinburgh Art College from 1985-1989 and he has been working as a landscape artist since that time. He has exhibited with a wide variety of galleries throughout Scotland. Much of the work he produces reflects the pleasure he finds in the silence of wilderness landscapes, observing the circumstance of the weather and all its diversity.

Colin has been commissioned to create many paintings and his work is held in many private and business collections. During 2007 his work was featured as a finalist in the ‘international artist’ magazine. His choice of medium is Alkyd and Acrylic, both are quick drying media which suit an instinctive response to painting on the landscape and in the studio.
