Ian Ledward

Ian was born in Northumberland but now lives and works in Fife. He graduated from Leeds College of Art with an Honours Degree in Three Dimensional Design, and is a winner of the Radford Design Award. Ian taught at Jacob Cramer College in Leeds and Edinburgh College of Art, and has worked on numerous private collections and municipal collections including Leeds University and Fife Council.

Ian’s work starts with a photograph, and although it does have paint in it, part of it is printed. Sometimes he even uses collage and collagraph techniques. He describes the images he produces as ‘mixed media fine graphics’. Every piece produced by Ian is unique.
