Born in 1979, and brought up in rural Perthshire, Lynsey graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2001 with a BA Honours degree. She has continued her artistic practice since, exhibiting widely within the UK, and her work is held in many public and private collections around the world.
Lynsey’s work is an investigation into the relationship between humans and their surroundings. Inspired by Scottish cultural heritage, environmental sustainability and spiritual philosophies, Lynsey seeks to bring a sense of wellbeing through her work. Presenting visual interpretations of nature’s dominance, Lynsey intends to instil the notion of living to life’s full potential through our intrinsic, human connectedness with nature, and our absolute dependence on the health of our natural world.
