Rowena Laing

Rowena Laing DA graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. She then worked as a Graphic Designer in London, Dundee and Glasgow. As a partner in J & R Laing Design Associates, she worked primarily on interior design projects.

Rowena now paints full time with much of her current work finding its inspiration in the time spent with her horses in the Stirlingshire countryside as well as from Scotland’s east coast where she grew up. More exotic references are drawn from the Caribbean and from Italy, especially Florence where she lived as a student.

She is married, has a son, a daughter and a variety of four-legged dependants.
