Yvonne Hair

Born and brought up in Perth, Scotland, Yvonne graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1991 with a BA(hons) in Fine Art (Drawing and Painting). Her work is inspired by the Scottish landscape; its lonely beauty and ingrained history. She paints mainly large oils on canvas and also enjoys using pastels for smaller works. Photography has become another passion, and although primarily used as reference material for her paintings, its immediacy of creative thought is of infinite value to her.

Yvonne works from her garden studio in the shadow of Huntingtower Castle, just outside Perth.
